Geek of the Week: Simon Pegg for Zombie Awareness.
Simon Pegg brought Zombie Awareness farther along in his works in the final episode of Danger! 50,000 Volts and in Shaun of the Dead, a Romantic Zombie Comedy.

Max Brooks releases a new book: The Zombie Survival Guide: Recorded Attacks.
This book is a graphic version of the Documented Outbreaks section of the Zombie Survival Guide. As well as writing these, Brooks has also written World War Z: An Oral History of the Zombie War.

Even though Zombieland was well received by critics, local Zombie Fans find it iffy.
Among local zombie fans, this film wasn’t so well received do to minimal reloading, expenditure of resources, and endless list quoting. Overall I wouldn’t give this movie a FAIL rating. Two scenes of redemption were the booth/cage gunfight and Bill Murray’s cameo. This movie did make us question if we would indeed risk the lives of our friends during a Zombie Apocalypse for something like a Twinkie…most of us said yes.
